The Africa Craft Trust, Johannesburg

 

 The Africa Craft Trust is a Southern African non-profit organization implementing craft development programs. It offers a wide range of services to craft sector stakeholders and implements innovative, ground-breaking and effective regional programs that generate sustainable business for craft entrepreneurs.

 The Africa Craft Trust hired TW to coach their existing team on effective training techniques. During the African Market Readiness Program (AMRP), TW coached presenters as they delivered curriculum to aspiring entrepreneurs.  The coaching consisted of leadership skills, facilitation skills, adult learning theory, giving effective feedback and working with subject matter experts to create engaging learning activities.

 Based on the skills learned during the AMRP, the team made the decision to accompany TW to another region in Africa to attend a more in depth five day training of trainers.
